Cephalosporin why are you so boring?

You mechanism of action is probably the only thing you probably have going,

How many of you are there no one can keep a track,

Somewhere hidden do you have a love shack?

Five generations done …don’t you think it’s enough?

Remembering your names is as it is tough.

Jumping from Cephalexin to Cephazolin I blow a fuse,

To avoid using you in patients we try to find an excuse.

Your classification is not even accepted universally;

Students study about you mournfully.

You are sadist sent from hell!

Its however good that you can help MRSA patients get well!

That doesn’t change the fact how much misery you bring,

Whoever learns your classification should be declared pharmacology king.
